We Are Back

Well it has been a couple of weeks and we have been very busy. I have been catching up on everyday life type of things and we have been on the go. Travis's younger brother Jordan came for a visit for a long weekend and we got to spend time with him. He was on the go with us doing lots of babysitting and never even complained. We had a fun time going out to eat and going to the beach though too. We have also been busy at church. Praise In Motion is back in full swing preparing for our Night of Praise this year. We changed the date to new years eve. We are working in the nursery now on Sunday mornings teaching Sunday school for the babies which is really fun. The first week we taught them how to pat the Bible and the whole lesson was about the Bible. They loved patting the Bible so much so we also had to teach them how to take turns. This past week was about the church and they actually have fun songs that go along with each lesson too. We have also been doing other random things at church as well including continuing to lead our small group.

We have also been doing a lot of work. Travis is working and studying for his certification exam which he will take in November before we leave for New Mexico to visit his family and he is working hard at work as usual. I have been busy meeting with quite a few people for my work for my Dad's company and I am also now in the midst of my new job as a field advisor for my former school. I am considered adjucnt faculty and I coordinate the masters students internships so I go and meet with the students and their supervisors at the agency twice a semester to make sure all is going well. It is fun and interesting and I have just finished all of my first visits for the semester.

We are also getting ready for Zion's birthday next week and we are going to have a little party here in the picnic area of our country club by the lake. It is just going to be simple and fun and it is going to be a fall theme.

Zion has some new tricks including waving bye, giving a high five, honking noses, climbing things including stairs, and she is as cute as ever. She has been very sad because she had her first bad cold and cough and she still has the cough which is very pathetic and she is whiny. Hopefully it will go away soon so she can get back to her cheery self.
