Only 4 Weeks Left

Okay its quite obvious that I should not leave the posting up to Trav. I think that he has been spending too much time with his friend Josh at his office who made his wifes ultrasound picture look like a goat. As of Monday I am no longer working. You can pray that I feel better as I have still not been feeling like myself since I got sick several weeks ago. Last weekend my Dad was here for a visit and our friends at church had a shower for us which was a lot of fun. Now we have clothes to put our baby in and other things we really needed. The babies room is almost totally done. Travis is going to try to finish it tonight. The baby is already 6 pounds 6 ounces as of yesterday which is above average.

Dumbfounded

There's only a few weeks left until we get to meet this cool creature that is trying like mad to poke a hole out of Reba's stomach. I am so excited to meet little Schenk for the first time. Actually, I can't believe it's happening! I feel like it was just yesterday that I was saying that we were going to wait awhile before having kids. Oh well, I guess "awhile" has come and gone!

This is a picture of me when I first found out Reba was pregnant. Do I look dumbfounded? Hopefully, someone will be able to get a picture of me when the little one is born. Maybe I will make up for up then.

Reba may ask some of you for some boy names, but little does she know that I already have a boy name picked out. She just doesn't know it yet. Just play along! Oh...and sorry Cook family but your middle names aren't being passed through this branch of the tree, at least not in the traditional manner.
