Ballerina

Talking ballet with her new ballet buddy

This was before we left when she was telling me she was shy and afraid to go to class...but showing off her ballet shoes.

So Zion wanted to take ballet last fall and was all signed up and then the class was canceled the day it was supposed to start because they did not have enough kids. They called a couple of weeks ago though and said they were starting a new class and we made it today! We were even on time. Zion was a bit shy and first but seemed to have a great time. She learned first position, plie, how to tip toe and got to be a butterfly. It was fun to take her because she has been wanting to go for so long. And I just want everyone to know that this was not my idea, it was Zion. I would be perfectly happy if none of my kids ever wanted to do ballet. One of the neat things is that her teacher is someone that my family happens to know was involved in dance ministry at my parents church and Zion is already in love with her.

Home!

We are really enjoying being home! But the past few days have gone by so fast and sadly Travis goes back to work tomorrow already. Norah had her doctors appointment today and it looks like she is doing great! Zion has been very patient and is a great helper. She loves helping with whatever she can and has been making up songs for Norah about how they are going to be friends and faries and she has one line that comes up over and over in her songs "don't fear were here." Its really cute! And she is quickly learning to be very gentle and about all of the other things that go along with babies. We are very proud of her. Norah does not seem phased by her older sister either and is able to sleep through the thousands of kisses and pats she is getting. So far Norah has been letting us get a little bit of sleep at least and is certainly making us all smile. We are beginning to discover her little personality which is quite exciting.
