Lots of Easter

We had not one but two Easter Egg hunts. One with Resurrection Eggs that have different things in each egg that help to tell the Easter story. Then we had another egg hunt in the back yard with treats. Even Norah loved finding her eggs.

Then we made Resurecction rolls....which are rolls that illustrate how Jesus rose from the grave. Then we dyed eggs and watched an Easter Veggie Tale movie.

Pretty Easter dress thanks to Aunt Trish, the girls coordinated and looked super cute!

Getting in some dancing before church!

Cheese!

The Ladies!

Date Night With a Beautiful Girl

Zion got tickets to go to a special symphony perforamance for Christmas from Nonnie and Grandpa. It was all Disney music with video clips from the movies. She loved getting dressed up, going out to eat and listening to the music. She sat perfectly still and kept whispering in our ears about each movie. The Little Mermaid music was her favorite. I think she really enjoyed doing something special with all of us just by herself which has not happened in a really long time. It was a special date with a special girl!

Water Play!

Norah is growing so quickly. Already heading towards 14 months here in a couple of weeks. She had fun sitting on the potty the other night. Its all looks at this point but at least she likes it! She kind of skiped walking and went straight to running instead. Oh and climbing. She climbs up onto the dining room chair and then on the table. The other evening while I was cooking I turned around and she was scaling the stove while it was on! She also enjoys climbing up the couch and perching herself on the radiator behind it so she can look out the window. We have to keep our eyes on her all the time now. I do not remember Zion being this adventerous at all. She is such a happy girl and is bringing all of us great joy! Her new word is "this" which she says as she points to everything. She refuses to drink regular milk even if we try to trick her and will only drink soy milk....we can't figure out why. She loves to make Zion laugh and giggles the cutest way when she is outside and the breeze catches her hair.
