Zion Mackenzie Schenk

Zion was born on Monday morning at 10:37 a.m. She is beautiful and was 7 pounds 3 ounces. We returned home late yesterday which was Wednesday and she is getting to know her new surroundings. When we got to the hospital on Sunday for Reba to be induced Reba was already having contractions and was in active labor by midnight without needing the pitocin. Everything went smoothly. God has blessed us and taken such good care of us. More of the delivery story and an update will follow. For now we hope you can enjoy some of our first pictures. Thank you all for taking such good care of us. For the visits and encouragement. Zion is enjoying meeting all of her new friends!

Reba and Travis, I've been anxiously waiting for photos - she's beautiful, and it so looked like she was smiling at Reba in that last photo. Hard to believe the skinny little girl who made boats for a mission trip in my garage how many years ago is all grown up and a mommy. Blessings to all of you - enjoy these precious first few days - amazing how little sleep you can get by on, sleep you can make up, these days cant be recaptured. Absorb every minute of them. When youre overwhelmed call Leslie. She lived through it, and Landon still howls a lot - it will all pass quickly.
